I really like this one! It seems they are taking a break from rallying the defenders of Minas Tirith to reflect on the situation, and perhaps send a silent prayer that Theoden arrive soon. Imrahil really does look like a representative of the Dunedain as they were at the beginning of the Age. The subtle detailing of his features does suggest Elven ancestry. :)

One can really see the elven strain in Imrahil's lineage. Very well done.

I really like this. Gandalf looks right, and Imrahil looks as if his armour would really work.

Wonderful!! Happy to find Imrahil, and such a fine looking one too. The only company to actually wear plate according to the book (if I remember correctly). Gondor's heavy cavalry. He has that true Numenorian air about him. The white of Gandalf really shines, almost angelic. Very expressive drawing. Love it!!

I think you've made Gandalf look a bit /too/ worn here (as if he's mere human) but I love the gravity of the scene. Excellent atmosphere

It is beautiful! The mixure of the very detailed, incredibly realistic parts (especially the armor :faint:) and the misty walls and undefined garnment of Gandalf make it seem to kind of flow in the mists of time, you only get a quick glanc on some details until they vanish again...
Plus, the faces are not only original, but as well done with great skill :) Gandalf looks mighty, but somehow still old, an Imrahil thoughtful, sad and proud :)

This is just so amazing that I can't even express it. The wonderful feeling of age and... oh it's just mind boggling. I wish I could gather the words. I'll try!

I love the general look of it. You have done this in a way that it is gentle and yet tinged with a sense of desperation and great quiet. I love the shading, you did it so well that they both look realistic but still with that fantastic sense of the unreal that elevates these characters to such respected heights. The expressions are really the greatest part of this artwork because they lined with such hardship and power that it is unbelievable to think that you gave life to that. The hair is so luminescent and really reminds me of the status of gandalf and his mystery.

Overall, I love this. I love everything about it. It may be one of my favorite works of art yet.

Wonderful, I love to see original character interpretations, not movie portraits. Great style, reminds me of John Howe (must be the armour ;) )

This is extremely beautiful. I love the way Gandalf kind of shines. It's easy to tell he's an Istari, not just an ordinary old man.
